I've read the "Newbe guide to overclocking Athlon Xp", and i think i understand how to do it, but before i start i would like to no for sure if my bios settings on overclocking are correct.

Here's what my settings are now, (I have not changed anything yet):

CPU freqentie :200.0
PCI Express clock :100mhz
DDR voltage :auto
CPU multiplier :x11
CPU vlotage :auto
PCI clock sinchronization :auto (to cpu, 33.33 are the two other possible)

I did turn the Cool and Quiet off.

My CPU is a AMD Athlon XP 64 4200+
Mainboard: Asus A8n-E
I have 2 GB DDR400 but i dont know which brand it is.

One thing i did notice is that when AI booster starts up the FSB changes, i guess because some settings are on auto.

Thanks for any help, its apreciated.

Considering you don't have an Athlon XP, I'd say you read the wrong guide

Athlon XP, and the Athlon 64 X2's are not the same... I don't know they are "close enough"...

General rule of thumb I follow with my friends...

"If you have to ask how to overclock or so something that would otherwise void your warranty, you probably shouldn't do it."

well its his money. so, increase the multiplier if you can and up the frequency a little. dont bother with the memory

I would leave the multiplier as it is, up the frequency a little but turn the memory divider down to 333 and turn off A.I booster.
