Blue screen of death

Ok so my friend has the blue screen and he called me over to re-install windows. I put in my Vista CD, it said to press any key to launch CD, I saw windows bar going across, then PC restarted and again I got the blue screen of death. I even tried safe mode, no help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

sammytheman, hello. Are there any errors that you can see? Here a some suggestions, though designed for XP, it should work with Vista as well... http://www.pcstats.com/articleview.cfm?articleid=1647&page=4
