My PC is slow TM always shows Usage: 100%

I must use the Task Master to help me to get out of a program that has locked up on me. My PC is very slow now anyway and the Task Master CU usage always shows 100% even though I may not be running any program. Can any light be shed on this program

Does TM tell you which process is using the processor?

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

In the TM select "show process from all users" and look for the process that use the 100% of your CPU. After this finish the process tree (IF THE PROCESS ISN'T IMPORTANT) and do a complet scan with your antivirus, ccleaner and spyboot.

Dear i think first u can do as other bros. saying ..u have to c the process & Finish dat process tree which is using
the processor most...i also had a slow pc problem so i searched for lot of softwares and came across Advanced
System Optimizer on download.com and it really made a vast difference to my pc's performance u can also give it a try..
