To a previous question Paperdoc suggested a repair install after I boot up from my XP CD. Looking at repair installs to XP to reduce the risk of loosing data, there is a recommendation that the Undo_guimode.txt file be deleted from system 32 using command prompt.
When I open command prompt either using run - cmd - Ok or programmes - accessories - command prompt. My screen always comes up with with an entry already in the window C:|documents & settings\my name>. How can I get rid of this entry so that I can type in the necessary instruction to delete this undo_guimode.txt file
