recently, a friend gave me this fan controller:

why? because he couldn't get it to work, lol
After looking around inside, we determiend that the battery inside must be dead, everything else seemed fine. Today, i finally bought the replacement battery, in hope of havea sweet new fan controller to stick in my 3.5 drive bay, but still no luck. I plugged in the molex and my CPU fan.
When plugging in the molex, I did not notice at first, but after a few mintues of figuring out wht was wrong, i saw the yellow cable had come out of the plastic holding. I was scared this might have fried it, but i checked and it is the 12 V rail, not the grounding wire, meaning the fan contorller jjust didin have enough power, right?
Well after ficing it and pluging the molex back in, still no luck, so now im stuck. How do i find out what is wrong with this thing?
When i turn on my computer with this plugged in, the LCD panel turns blue, but no text is on it.
Any help would be ncie, thanks
