HI

I run into a problem with my new GeForce 7900GS KO card.

I downloaded UT2004 Demo and ran it and
was droping frames per second like crazy.
One millisecond it would be 40 the next 8 and so on.
It was jumping all over the place.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the game but that didn't fix the problem.

Anyone here know what the problem might be?

Is there a program I can run to check and see if this card is actually working right?

hmmm...thats wierd

In UT04 you should really be hitting 85fps non stop with 6XAA and 16XAF ( I do any way).

well you can try using one of those banchmarking tools, like 3dmark05 or 06 and post up your result. Its not a sure fire way to see if your card is fine, but a very low score would give us some idea.

Ok I downloaded 3D Mark 06 and ran it.
The default screen resolution was set at 1280x1024
but my screen resolution is 1024x768. It wont let me
change it with out buying it.

Anyways here are the results with AA and Anisotropic Filtering Off.

What is your hole system?
Well your 3dmark scores are pretty good you should try different drivers.
I had an fx5200 not long ago, when i installed some drivers i wouldn't get good frames not even in cs1.6 when i changed them it would work fine again.
