SATA and SATA II both fit in SATA 3.0gb?

There is SATA 1.5 and SATA 3.0. There is no SATA or SATA ii. And yes, the connectors are identical.

Sometimes you may have to set the jumpers but all mfg websites tell you if you do and if so, how to do it. If you've never done it, setting the jumpers on a drive just involves moving a plastic cap to another set of pins.
