I have that motherboard and that memory also. It's working fine. I thiink the 2.1 volts may be the maximum if you're overclocking, but I'm not sure. Somebody else will have to let you know.

I have been watching this thread for a resolution and don't have it yet. XMSYellowbeard is a Corsair tech support rep. You might be able to PM him.I believe the ram is the same but I'm not 100% sure. The board is the DS4 but it is probably the same with regards to the memory compatibility. Thought you might like to take a read.

hi. i have the ga-p35-ds3r rev 1.0 board, and you'll fly just fine w/ the 6400c4 corsair ram, guaranteed. it's got the dsr (or whatever it is rating, i think refers 2 dimm slots), anyway, jedec rating is 5-5-5-18 and 1.8 volts, which your system will bump up 2 1.9v. Pls, i have an important question. i'm dumpping my p35-ds3r rev 1.0 board, cuz the fsb maxs out at 360. anyone ever heard of such a small ceiling ( or 'fsb wall')? Pls help me, cuz in 2 days will arrive my asus p5k-e wifi board, which i'll use, but hate 2 lose the 6 month lod gigabyte board. dyin' 2 hear on this. tom L.

zorg, maybe u know? help w/ info if u can. cool.

that is too low for the fsb on a p35 board. something else must be holding you back. my p35c-ds3r is going at about 430 no probs. could go higher but don't need to

i have the ds3L rev2.0 board and that same ram...its fine use it ..the timings had to be changed in the bios for 4-4-4-12 @2.0 ~2.1 v i did that and no problemo

mr. jeremyrailton, hi, thanks 4 posting. how can i check if my fsb will pass 360 limit? i lowered my e6320 multipier to 6x, and still got only fsb360 max. gosh, i wish i knew how 2 pass 360 limit. i'm super stable at 360fsb, but can't pass 360. i run at 2520frequency/ wish i could go higher. any ideas? you're welcome to be heard here. yeah.

well, first, make sure your ram is set to 1:1, go ahead and check the voltage to make sure it's where it should be (1.8-2.1). then make sure the timings are set correctly as well. There's no need to lower the multiplier on the processor, just leave it at stock and then see how high you can go. If your processor speeds up to around 3.0, then throw a party and leave it alone. If it still won't go above the sticking point, either the board is bad or you happen to have a processor that won't overclock very well. You can also try raising voltage on the northbridge, but it shouldn't be necessary at those speeds.

oh yeah, you might have to raise vcore as well. i wouldn't go above 1.5volts though, even with good cooling.
