I just upgraded my network to wireless N. It's running at a solid 270mbs.
why is my PC to PC client file transfers SLOWER on my wireles 270mbs connection compared to if i wire it directly into the router (ethernet) using my 100mbs LAN?

obviously more goes into this than just speed of network connection because last time I checked 270mbs > than 100mbs.

Wireless speeds are largely a product of the imagination of a marketing department. Wired will almost always be quicker and more reliable.
