hi i brought a xfx 8500gt gddr2 in the weekend..... yes i no its crap but it was that, or a 7600gs (my price range) and i have great fun seeing what its capable of.

ok standard clock is 450mhz and 400mhz memory that got a 3dmark05 of 3249 on my pc, with a core temp of 55 idle and 83 load

now by using a combination of ntune and ATITools i got my 8500gt to 643mhz core and 489 memory. any higher i get errors on the scan for Artifacts test, this overclock gave me a 3dmark05 score of 4163 with a core temp of 57 idle and 89 load.

this was a good overclock in my opinion but i wanted to get my 3dmark05 score to about the same as xfx 8600gt which i think has a stock 3dmark05 score of 5000, so i had a look in my shitty bios for somthing to do this and found it!! PCIE bus speed took it up slowly all the way to 145 PCIE bus, did another 3dmark05, and i did it! 4982 3dmark05 yay!!!!! :)

one question is this bus speed safe??????

Could you be a little more specific on those "stupid claims"?

------------------------------ Vista=W98se...LOL just say no to scripts, and ActiveX controls at the right time. You guess when.

The iPhone's battery is soldered into place. Thats OK if you drop it, it won't fall out. How much will it cost to swap?
