I have a small network at home and I have a problem to set up one of the printers on the net. I have a Brother MFC 420CN with a wired networking connectivity and with no problem at all, but I also have a Laser Printer HP LaserJet 1012 marked as a default printer with a shared option enable that cannot set up on the other computers. My main PC is running Windows XP professional and also I have a IMAC with an OS X10 and a ACER laptop running a Windows Vista. My Brother printer is OK and it has the standard TCP/IP port but my laser printer HP LaserJet 1012 is using the DOT4_001 port and I cannot set up correctly at the other computers. Could anyone help me with this kind of problem? Thank you very much.
