prices vary from $153 to $200
they all seem to be the same 5-5-5-12 and the save voltage so i am assumining i am just paying for the heatsinks/fan

ALSO from the reviews that i have read it doesnt seem that going for higher speed DDR2 or DDR3 is worth it as it costs from 50%-400% more for the memmory for a at best 10% performance gain.

I will be doing HEAVY overclocking
MOBO ASUS P5K3 DELUXE
Processor Q660 (after the price drop)
CPU cooler Zalman 9700
Video X1950

thanks in advanced!!!!

Depending on how high you want to OC your memory. G.Skill ram uses Micron D9 memory chip modules, which are the best when overclocking. Below are 2 from G.Skill, ddr2 1066 & ddr2 800.

G.SKILL 2GB(2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066(PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail $179.99
Using the Micron D9GKX (B6-25E) 6-layer PCB, and it's OC ability is amazing. Set the voltage to 2.4 and relaxed the timings a little to 5-5-5-15. I'm sure I could speed that up a little, but it's 24+hrs prime stable a this point. I HIGHLY recommend getting this memory.

G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Retail $129.99
Using this memory kit for over a month now. I have overclock this memmory to 1100 at 2.35V. , theres a big review of this memory at anan*tech , read it. Yes they are D9GMH micron chips.

Hope this helps you out some.

Lower operating voltage: GSkill also makes a pretty good PC6400 4-4-4-12 @1.9v for under a benny. ProMOS 6-layer, I think. But those 4-4-3-6 @ 2.0V are the tightest and fastest PC6400 for the $.
