I've used an HDMI to HDMI cord to connect my laptop to my HDTV. I don't know what to do next, nothing appears on my HDTV or my laptop. Do I have to get software to connect them? I use nVIDIA Geforce 8600M GT, and the nVIDIA control panel doesn't pick up my TV either. How do I connect them?
