I am building a new system:
q6600/ e6750?
2Gb ocz platinum revision 2
p5n-e sli mobo#Western Digital WD2500KS 250GB 7200RPM SATAII/300 16MB Cache Hard Drive - OEm
Hiper 580w type m
x1950 pro 256
and a case for around £30 which i havent decided about yet

I dont know if i want a q6600 or the new 1333 fsb e6750.

i do play games, but not much, mainly like call of duty and that stuff at 1680 by 1050. what do you think i should get? is my system good enough, i know i should get the 8800 gts, but i dont really need it, i think i might sell my x1950 pro and just get the 8800 gts later

i would get a ds3r instead of that board they cost about the same amount, and it doesn't look like need sli plus you can put penryn chips on the ds3r

i have already bought the p5n-e, plus i am going to buy a q6600, therefore i wont be buying a new cpu for at least a year. therefore, i will upgrade my whole system in a year and get a better motherboard, cpu, graphics etc.
Unless the new penyrn cpu is coming out in less than a month, which it isnt im better of with a core 2 duo
