Good evening.. Im having a really serious problem with my power supply, I think...

Issue:

New build 2 months old.

I turn off my PC before I goto bed, the PC is on for about 14 17 hours a day... When I wake up in the morning, I'm an able to turn on the PC.. I would have to unplug the PC or restart the Surge Protecter, then it will turn on.

My router is powered on and a blue light insdie the PC is on. But nothing starts.. Not even fans.. DEAD! unless I do the steps above..

I tried 3 different power protecters and outlets.... Im still getting the same thing...
Im in very serious need of help or suggestions.. Thank you for taking the time out and helping..!

Hi,

I have just come here with the same (ish) issue... A PC that will not power on unless the power input at the wall socket is turned off for 5 seconds, does this look like a PSU issue???

Both sounds like PSU issues, try another PSU and see if that solves the problem. If you don't have an extra PSU and can't borrow on, go to a store that doesn't have a re-stocking charge if you can find one, buy a PSU and if it doesn't solve the problem, return it. Of course it's likely because of people like me that there are re-stocking charges :sarcastic:
