Dell system password

I think I may have caused this myself. I removed the admin password because I didn't want to sign on twice. On the following boot it no longer recognized my system password. I don't have a boot cd. Is there software I could buy to reset the password?

try starting windows in 'safe' mode to see if this lets you log on and reset user accounts.
