Please could some of the experts assist me with this extremely stuborn problem.

I have been struggelling to resolve this for the past 10 days, as soon as I try to access the Disk management module so that I could assign a drive letter to a USB connected drive, XP complains that " unable to connect to logical drive manager" I have followed virtually every recommendation on the WEB but with NO SUCCESS. I have also enabled virtually ALL the services, yet the problem persists.

Please could some help me. GOD BLESS

Perhaps try running a disk check, then a registry repair software if that fails to correct the problem.

I had that problem when strugling with a suspect iSCSI drive, but I doubt that's your problem. Any relevant messages in the event logs?
