My specs are as follows:
Gigabyte DS3
Geil Ultra DDR2-800 (2x1gb)
Core 2 Duo e4400 @ 3.0ghz (300x10)

Well thats about all i can think of that will pertain to overclocking the RAM.

Anyways, I currently have my RAM at 798mhz according to the BIOS, with timings of 4-4-4-12. Could someone assist me in getting the mhz higher? Ive tried tons of times but failed every single time, lol.

Thanks in advance.

Increase the voltage to the memory in BIOS to mfg. specs. 2.0 - 2.1 volt will work too. Also loosening the timings to 5-5-5-15 at the same time will give the RAM frequency a little slack to run at higher speeds than 798 mhz.

well, i have my mobo set to auto vcore for everything, i dont know if thats bad, but i just havent had the time to search through each and individual vcore setting, test it for 2-24 hours, then move onto the next one.

hmm... does it make a difference if you have memory in the DIMM2 and DIMM4 slots instead of 1 and 3?

Also, will i have to change my cpu multiplier and clock ratio to overclock the ram? or should i just lower (or is it higher...) the SPD multiplier? I currently have it at 2.66.

well, i cant even get it to 900mhz. I set timings to 5-5-5-15, voltage to 2.1, spd multiplier to 3.00 (900mhz), and still nothing, just auto-reboots and BIOS resets.
