I have to press F1 to start my system

Hello all

I built my system quite a while ago it's a Pentium 4 2.4GHz with 1 mb ram
everytime I boot up my system I am prompted to press F1 to get it started.
Any ideas how I can get rid of this so it will start up on it's own.

You more than likely have a Bios setting incorrect. It normally prompts you to "Press F1 to continue" if it senses an error. You can get rif of that by selecting "stop on no errors" on the first page of the bios.

Try replacing the CMOS M/B Battery, then reset the CMOS settings and save them and exit CMOS and you should be back in business.
