Okay, so. I am running Windows Vista 32 Bit operating system. (Ultimate) and a Nvidia 7600. I connected an SVideo to HD Component (Input) to a red white and yellow double ender. My father did this, as he is a computer tech. The problem being, I plugged it in but windows is recognizing my Widescreen 30 inch HD TV (Insignia) as a generic non-plug and play monitor, and the video quality is extremely bad. Does anybody know if there are drivers I can get, and so on to make the quality normal?

Connected S Video to HD component to a red whie and yellow? Your talking about 3 different cables all being connected together? Red and White are for Audio. RED GREEN BLUE will be component and there grouped together.

Use VGA to get better performance. S video doesnt even support widescreen or HD resolution 1366x768.
