Im looking into picking up a cpu heatsink for my lian li pc-101b case; and i am not sure what will fit, and still allow me to use the CPU shroud

i know it will fit a Zalman 9500, as i've seen it in a review, and the dimensions for that are: 85 x 112 x 125mm

since i know my safe range; and the actual range is probably another 10 or 20 mm in height, and about that in width, with near unlimited in depth, as far as i can tell; i know basically how large a heatsink i can fit.

now, i am not sure if you can rotate socket 775 heatsinks 90 degrees, to keep it from hitting the bottom of the case; and i am assuming you cant.

with these factors, i am looking at the Zerotherm BTF90; which fits my size requirements, and seems like a good cooler; plus it is on sale right now at newegg - any suggestions?

Depending on the mounting system you should be able to rotate the heatsink in 90 degree intervals. The BTF90 is a good cooler for your specifications. Also, the BTF90 you CAN rotate in the way stated above.

Ah, thats good; i wish that i could fit a thermalright 120 extreme; but i dont think it will work

is the BTF90 better at cooling than the Zalman 9500? or similar sized coolers?

Alright, i'll be running a BTF90 with AS5 paste; does anyone know if this will be sufficient to bring the C2Q6600 to 3.0ghz with the new G0 Stepping?
