Hello:
I was told that that under XP you cant mix 7 and 8 series GPUs.

I currently have 2 XFX 7600GT XXX so that I can drive 3 monitors.

I have budget to buy only 1 8800GTX right now, so I was wondering if anyone got a 7600GT working with an 8800GTX?

Or do I have to wait and get 2 8800?

you cant run series 8 and pre-series 8 gpus together simultaneously under win xp due to driver incompatabilities. if you still want an 8800GTX and be able to drive 3 monitors simultaneously, i would consider selling your 2 7600GTs, and saving up to invest in a matrox triplehead2go (digital version preferrably, IMO, since it has software to remove the bezel gaps inbetween monitors, to make it more seamless), so the 8800GTX could also then drive 3 monitors by itself
