Ok, it's been years since I've attempted to build a system, but my computer is starting to give out on me. Please verify that all my parts are compatible and are quality parts. Also, is there any place I can pre-order the E6850 chip? I've found several sites that have it listed for $290. Is the price supposed to go down any further?

MSI P6N SLI Platinum LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail
COOLER MASTER Wave Master TAC-T01-E1C Silver All Aluminum Alloy ATX Mid Tower Computer Case - Retail
G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-6400CL5D-2GBNQ - Retail
Western Digital Caviar SE16 WD2500KS 250GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM

Sony NEC Optiarc 18X DVD±R DVD Burner With 12X DVD-RAM Write Silver E-IDE / ATAPI Model 7170A-0S - OEM

Things to add: silver floppy (not on newegg for some reason?) and the E6850 CPU.

Thanks for your help guys. This website has helped me a lot in picking parts.

Newegg has the new version 830EVO with their 1K Real Power Pro power supply for $399.99.I had mine delivered monday. The case has lots of room, and the 1K PS has plenty of power to go around. It even has two 8pin PCIe connectors for the new vidio cards that will be coming out,as well as 4 6pin PCIe.AS far as the e6850.buy.com now has them in stock for $309 including shipping if you go through google check out.buy.com is the only site that i know of that has the e6850s.I ordered 8 for my customers this morning.

VERY nice choice on the PSU, finally someone that can choose a PSU :) One thing that keeps bogging me, you're not buying a graphics card?

Oh, what is a good heatsink/fan I can buy for around $40-$50? I was looking into the Arctic Cooler Freezer 7 Pro but I don't know if it will fit on my motherboard.

Suggestions?
