Thoughts on what I just ordered...?

So... I kind of had a blast today dropping my Travel Reimbursements... Any thoughts on my purchases (In other words, did I do something foolish that needs rectified before I begin opening things and slapping them together?) Admittedly I was still a tad hungover when I began shopping this afternoon though from the night before! I still have my preferred Mouse and Keyboard from my seven year old computer (The last computer I built before this endeavor!)

EVGA nForce 680i SLI NVIDIA Socket 775 ATX Motherboard
Intel E6850 Dual Core 3.0Ghz
(x2) Corsair Dual Channel TWINX 2048MB PC6400 DDR2 800MHz Memory (2 x 1024MB) [4GB Total]
EVGA GeForce 8800 GTS
Matrox TripleHead2Go
(x3) Acer AL1917WABD 19" Widescreen LCD Monitor - 5ms, 700:1, WSXGA+ 1440x900
(x2) Seagate / 320GB / 7200 / 16MB / SATA-300 / OEM / Hard Drive (Planning on RAIDing them)
OCZ / GameXStream / 700-Watt / ATX / 120mm Fan / Power Supply
Lite-On Super-Multi LH20A1H Lightscribe DVD Burner - 20x
Lite-on LH-16D1P-187 / 16x DVD-ROM / 48x CD-ROM /
Antec P182 Case
Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit DSP OEM DVD

DOWN THE ROAD
I intend on picking up a second GTS and syncing them... possibly upgrading the RAM and learning about Overclocking... (I have yet to really look too much into the how's behind that). Also considering a 3rd Hard drive for redundancy.

Overall looks good. Was gonna recommend a p35 instead but since you're sli'ing nvm. Although the x38 chipset should be here within a month or two. It's also said to be able to SLI with two 16x pci slots. but it is a month or so away. but overall nice build ^_^. Enjoy it!

Heh yeah I looked at the x38 coming... but I've been waiting to do this for three months now (First I was waiting on the check... then the release of the E6850, which I only noticed today is available NOW, as opposed to the 22nd I had thought I had to wait for!) We'll see what prices look like on those come Christmas, maybe I'll swing another direction.

My biggest fence was the Vista (well AFTER I decided on the E6850 over the Quad)... I just decided to bite my tongue and take the plunge. -.- Should look mighty pretty spread out over three screens if I manage to get it all to work smoothly.

lol! that'd be extremely nice. How big is each screen? Flatpanel's I assume? I have to admit overall it's a damn nice build. I'm waiting for my own rig as well. But waiting for x38/penryn/g90 or r700..Overall I have a LONG way to go...With this annoying 3.2 prescott and x700 >_<..lol.
