Using a Dish 6000 - Currently I get a good lock up on WETA-DT CH27 but it
does not decode. Get a black screen and no audio. Problem show'd up on a
few other stations but they're back

As of lately yes. One time the will map as 26-1 to 26-4 then
they are 27-1 to 27-4. I just redo the channel search.

It sounds like you're getting picture and sound - What HD box are you
using?
Thanks for the feedback

I was just about to post a similar message. I would also include
Maryland Public Television. On *only* WETA-DT and WMPT-DT my receivers
are having fits with the PSIP information. I thought February 1st was
the FCC's deadline for getting PSIP right.
I have a Dish 6000 and two USDTV (Hisense) receivers. Using the 6000 for
these two stations is a nightmare -- MPT requires twice-daily re-
programming of the STB and favorites lists each time they switch from
multichannel to HDTV. WETA channel mapping is a sometimes thing.
The past couple weeks of fundraising have only added to the mess. As
others have noted, sometimes the OTA channels (27, 42) map themselves to
26 & 22; sometimes they don't. Only tonight have my Hisense receivers
resumed showing WETA program info. (They now show "DTV Program" instead
of "No Information". I guess that's an improvement.) I could not get my
6000 to map MPT at all earlier tonight.
Emails to WETA and MPT have gone unanswered for a week. I worked for
Public Television once upon a time and realize that fundraising screws
up everyone's schedules. However, I think I will make phone calls
tomorrow and if I learn anything interesting I'll report here.

I have a built in receiver. The TV is an RCA HD61LPW42.
As of late, I have be having the mapping issue with channel
45 in Balt also. Them and 26. Also I have noticed that MPT
almost seems to switch around what channels they are
transmitting with. Whether under 22 or 67. Usually I get
them on 67, but on occasion they will be on 22.

Hi Paula
I also have called. Been transfered to different locations. Got voice mail
and no call-back. I used to be able to call thier Dir of Engr, Bob Ham but
the number I had now says it's inactive. Perhaps he retired. Went thru
this a few years ago trying to convince WETA-DT that they had the Pay for
View flag set.

42 is transmitting from Annapolis/Crownsville; 67 is Owings
Mills/Baltimore transmitter site. You are getting good reception. I
have noted that 67 is sometimes working right when 42(22) is not. That
puzzles me, too.
I didn't get through to anyone today. Tomorrow . . .
