Some may have seen my other threads, right now I'm looking into maybe getting a nvidia 8800gtx (maybe sli if I have the money to burn) and I was wondering, would it be worth it to void warranty and get a different cooler for the card, so it doesnt run at crazy high temps? not to go off the graphic card category and get into coolers I was thinking a TEC cooler like this http://www.casetek.com.tw/vga-cooler/ma-8280-2.htm

Or you could buy a evga, and avoid voiding the warranty, also , buy the time you buy, with the 90 stepup program, you may be looking at a G90 upgrade

I always buy evga ;) and I was thinking about the step up program

So there ya go, evga supplies the way out. They let you mod the cooler, just keep the old one in good shape, in case of rma
