I get the 'program failed to initialized properly' error every time I open Google Chrome. I have been using Chrome for three weeks and this is the fist time it has come up. Now it won't 'fix'. I have XP.

hi robert, maybe you can try this http://www.opssys.com/instantkb/article.aspx?id=10176

Unfortunately, I only have the General, Version and Summary tabs, not the Security tab. Anything I can do about this?
  2. try this:
Right click on the Chrome icon and select properties and add "--no-sandbox" to the end of Target
    ("C:\Documents and Settings\...\Application Data\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --no-sandbox)

(so write --no-sandbox after the line)

Try that and see if it works.
