I recently bought a Jetway 570 SLI Motherboard for my new gaming rig.
After plugging everything in, the cpu fan didnt spin up. I tried two different powersupplies and rechecking everything.
Finally I examined the back of the motherboard, when I noticed, where the metal pins from the 24 pin power connector goes, that a thin, copper? ribbon between the second metal pin of the power connector, to a capacitor going to the right.
It appears that it was somehow pulled out because the ugly green color is gone, and the ribbon inside seems to have been pulled out, as I can see the ends of where it was connected.
I would have pics, but the camera is broken.
Have u ever heard of this happening, and is there any thing I can do to fix it?
