Hooking up 1 monitor to multiple video cards

I have 2 ati 4860 video cards, must I hook them both up somehow to the monitor? And if so, what type of connector do I use and where can I get one?

Do you have them set in a crossfire config or as seperate vid cards?
If in crossfire then only one connection is needed. If set as two separate cards then you will need two monitors.

Thanks, they should be in crossfire mode (but my manufacturer - Sapphire - did not include a cross fire bridge, even though according to the web site information on the card, it is included in the package. I had to go to an outside vendor to buy one.

In the instructional video, it appeared to use two cables going into one cable to the monitor, but I now know only one is required. Thanks for the info...
