XFX 8800GTS 320Mb XXX... worth it?

Hi again.

Do you think it's worth spending 319€ on a XFX 8800GTS 320Mb XXX Edition (which comes overclocked to 580/1800, but seemingly with the exact same heatsink and fan as every other 8800GTS) when I could get the XFX standard version (500/1600) for 30€ less and overclock it myself? Is there a thread where people post their results overclocking their 8800's?

Yes there is such a thread, just do a search in the forums for post 8800 overclocks. And no, its not worth spending the extra money . Thats a healthy ram oc, but the chip can go that high easy. Try using ati tool, and yes , it works with nVidia

Just be sure to watch your temps, keep watching them til you feel confident its OK, and yea, these card oc well. Enjoy
