To hit new performance heights the quad-core Intel processor for computer enthusiasts uses 1333MHz bus and operates at 3.0GHz speed. However, what is really interesting about it, is the new G0 processor stepping lowering the heat dissipation and improving the chip’s overclocking potential.

Although the power consumption of Core 2 Extreme QX6850 processor look still very appealing against the background of AMD processors: it turns out even more economical than AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+.

Anyone else wondering why Tom's is no longer a hardware review site? Here we get a news article, where as anand is actually still doing hardware testing. Thoughts?

THG is no longer just a computer hardware site, it's only a matter of time before we start seeing reviews of vacuum cleaners on the front page.

I've been visiting anand and xbit-labs a lot more often than I used to

I´ve to agree. The forum has just become a starting point from where to go to hardware reviews which are mostly hosted by anand, xbit and other sites.

yea me too, i remember when i first came to this site i was a little put off by the name itself, toms hardware lol. But after a week i came to realize that they were a fantastic site with basically daily articles which were all very interesting. And now we get NOTHING, i have not seen a review of hardware for over 2 weeks its quite brutal.

and so i go to anand tech everyday now instead.
