Hi,
I am building a new system, and is wondering whether anyone knows about the current card's compatibility with OpenGL 3.0. OpenGL.org disclosed that the new API to be released Q4 2007 is aimed for the graphics cards marketd after Nov, 2006...but does anyone know whether the Nvidia 8x series will really be compatible with it? I'd hate it to spend a few hundred bucks on a card that won't support the newest OpenGL.

Much thanks

Opengl 3.0 will take advantage of the directx 10 hardware. So the nVidia 8 series and the Ati 2x series.
