Just drag them from the folder on the computer to a folder on the hard drive. As you want to move rather than copy, hold the right mouse button down whilst dragging. When you release it you will get the choice of copy or move.

Select the pictures you want-->right click-->cut-->open the folder you want to move them to-->right click-->paste.
