that is an improvement i say - 3.3ghz is max with a qx6700 - it gets too hot. it seems many systems are unstable over 1333fsb - i think its the mobos can not deliver the power.

there is a large bump in power usage around 1330-1335 - possibly the new mobo's address this?

or the increased heat is not dissipated and the voltage regs loose efficiency leading to instability?
