How can I run a 32 bit program on windows vista 64 bit?

So at risk of sounding dumb.....

I have encountered this problem many times. Unable to run 32 bit version on a 64 bit OS windows vista 64 bit system. So how can I run 32 bit versions of software (as most are) on my 64 bit system?

Any advice is much appreciated. Thankx

Most 32 bit programs should run fine on a 64 bit OS. The problem you may have is, that the programs are not compatible with Vista, rather then the fact they are 32 bit.
Have a look at the Microsoft Program Compatibility Wizard.
