I have seen some small reviews from other places on the ATI 2600 and 2400 cards, but haven't seen one from Toms's yet, has anyone else?

Well we have asked this in the forums before and cleeve was good enough to let us know that it is coming and will be indepth including some"interesting stuff" but yes you are right even allowing for that its taking too long.
I dont know what the hold up is/was.
Maybee they never got given the boards to review some people dont like the truth, which is from every thing i have read so far that they suck big time. :D

I've been seeing these cards on Newegg now for a week or so, so figured I would have easily seen a review from Tom's by now.

The other reviews I have seen, show that the 2600, doesn't even come close to the 2900, it's pitiful in comparison, which is quite odd. I am a HUGE ATI Fan, but I'm afraid I may be upgrading my X800 Pro, to an NVidia 8800GTS, instead of the ATI 2600, which I was hoping would be close. The 8800GTS smokes the ATI 2600 it looks like hands down.

8800GTS and HD 2600XT are two different ball parks buddy.

If you mean the HD 2900XT then yes, and BTW the HD 2900XT wins against the 8800GTS

The HD 2600's Compare to the 8600's from Nvidia not the 8800's.

But for 150$ for the HD 2600XT GDDR4 isnt all that bad.

How many ways can you say 2600s and 8600s suck. One review is probably as good as another where they are concerned.Lets just keep shouting bad news from the rooftops.

This guy on the new build forums compared them to a pile of crap.

Well I like those cards now to be honest, they are good for target practice, also you can piss on them, or set them on fire, or I know, you can also bash them with a sledgehammer..... ahhh so many ways to have fun with them without playing videogames, there's no point in even attaching them to your PC! amazing cards they use no power at all and provide you a lot of fun!
