Im looking for a guide on how to overclock the fsb and ram timings on my pc.
My specs are the following:
athlon x2 6000+
asus m2n32-sli deluxe wireless edition
Evga 8800 gts 320 mb
Corsair pc2-6400 (frequency is 375, and 4-4-4-12 timing)
I have a Zalman heatsink.
Im new to overclocking and I was wondering if anyone could take the time and tell me what I need to look for and how to overclock my computer, especially the ram frequency. From what Ive heard, my frequency should be at 400 since the ram is multiplied by 2.
i have a 6000+ on an m2n-e and i didnt overclock the processor but i did overclock the ram.
i lowered the cpu multiplier to 14x and raised the ram from 200 to 215.

my guess is that your CPU will not OC very much, most AMD64's are only able to get up to 3.2Ghz. So just FYI. but if you want to OC then look at the OC AMD64 guide in the forum.
