Dead PSU - Replace Fuse? Tags: Power Supplies Connection Components Last response: July 17, 2007 10:33 AM in Components Share badnob July 16, 2007 6:33:40 PM Hi folks, I have an Ultra X-Connect 500w PSU that died the other day and I'm wondering if I should try and replace the fuse. I can see it throught the rear fan, it is a plain white fuse with no markings. I would like to ask two questions; 1) Am I likely to get a shock if I take the PSU apart and what precautions should I take? 2) What is the likely amperage of the fuse? Thanks in advance. Oh well, time to make a purchase... Can't find your answer ? Ask !
