B4 i start, i believe it is the graphics card at fault but i am not sure.
I like to play games at a good graphics level, but whenever i try to play some games at the highest levels they start jacking up, artifacts, lags, and smears. Dark crusade is one of them, most of the time it works nice and smooth with lags here and there, but after awhile my computer will shut off, or the screen will flicker constantly like 6 times then a complete video failure will occur. Star was empire at war works with some lags, at a good level, except that will play decently for a bit, then you know how the units will say yes sir, or going right away and such, well they will repeat what they say...over...and over....and over...nonstop, then after awhile...a crash and reboot. Command and conquer generals works fine, but as i quit the game...crash/reboot. star wars battlefront works like a charm a little lag, but i can live, and there is ABSOLUTELY NO problem there, no crash, no reboot, no flicker, at the highest settings even!
what is the problem here? my drivers are updated, everything, ive tried o/c the pci-e bus from 2500 mhz to 3000mhz, and i dont see a difference in performance, although i get some performance in the 3dmark03 benchmark.
Ive tried to o/c the videocard a little bit (yes i kno it is factory o/c but hey sumthings not right). There is nothing i can do sadly its been 5 months since i bought it. My old a8n-sli deluxe's southbridge chipset died, and as i am only 17, i couldnt afford a new mobo. Can anyone help?

At first, what do you mean of southbridge chipset died?
Secondly, install a game like Company of Heroes which has built-in Performance Test then check the results you get with the results on some trusted benchmarking websites.
(e.g. http://www.gamespot.com/features/6158594/p-5.html for Company of Heroes)

You can also check other games' frame rates with the ones on some pages like "http://www23.tomshardware.com/graphics.html" using Fraps downloadable at "http://www.fraps.com/". If you're getting the right results for your graphics card then it's ok, But if you aren't then notify me to provide other possible solutions.
