I've tried and tried, and I can't get my e6600 stable above 2.9 ghz. Followed Skyguy's OC guide to the DS3 mobo word for word. Take a look at my BIOS settings. Any thoughts?

This may or may not help, but try to set your memory timings to automatic or optimal. The issue you're experiencing may be related to their timings and not your CPU.

I'm not sure what you mean. Change it from Option 1 to Option 2? That's the only thing I can do there.

As far as RAM default - my board defaults the Ram voltage to 1.8, but mine runs 2.0 - 2.1 v. So I had to change the voltage to get it to boot. I left the timings at default though.

I'snt there an option where you can "unlink" the memory and run it stock/auto.
Otherwise you're overclocking it and you need to use the correct divider so not to exceed their limit.

No he isnt overclocking it, since PC2-6400 runs max of 400MHZ and his bus speed is only at 332 there.

Make SURE that your memory is running 1:1 that gives the best overclock. If you havent already you may want to try upping your VCORE. Up it .05 to .1 and put that BUS SPEED to w/e you wanted it at to get 3ghz, load up windows and now see if its stable.

Try upping the Northbridge Vcore a little, you don't just keep raising the CPU Vcore by itself. I have a different mobo (Asus P5B P965) than you but it can't be that different. When I was OC'ing whenever I failed Orthos I'd try upping the Vcore on the NB and that saved me from upping my CPU Vcore many times. When OC'ing you must bring all componets up with the CPU Vcore, NB Vcore & FSB volts and you will find a balance.
