edimax ew-7209apg (wireless access point)

hi all, i am new to this forum and was just wondering if any-1 could help set this thing up properly, i have a edimax ew-7209Apg wirelss access point, i have had it for a couple of weeks now, it works fine for my main pc (wired), but am unable to access the net either through wireless or wired on my laptop, the laptop picks up the wireless adaptor (full signal) but NO internet, i got intouch with edimax tech support but they were more than useless, this is how it is set up at the mo,

wired, cable modem - access point - main pc,,,,, if i connect laptop wired aswell only main pc works

any help would be very gratefull, thanks
