Outlook 2007 - Invisible Items in DRAFT Folder

Hello,

My default Draft folder indicates it has eight items in it with the characteristic (8) behind the folder name. When I go to the folder, it is emply, "There are no items to show in this view", is the only "entry". How can I delete that marker?
