My "old" E6600 was doing 3.0 with about the same temp as the G0. Thats why I find it strange, because I was thinking that a Quad should generate more heat than a duo at the same speed.
Anyway, ill push it to 3.2-3.4 tomorrow and see how temp is going.
If you could do me the favor, of having a quick look to see how far you can push it all together and still have it quite stable, taht would be greatly appreciated!!
Also, do you use aftermarket cooling?

Im on water. My case (TT Kandalf LCS) came with a water cooling system. Its not the best, but IMO not the worst water cooling kit too. Ill post result later today.
Tonight i got some time and i try to push the q6600 over 3.0ghz
The results :
CPU @ 3.30 Ghz
Voltage : CPU @ 1.4, NB @ 1.65
Temp : IDLE 37-38, Full Load (with prime95) between 55 and 58 for core 0 and 1 (according to SpeedFan, RightMark CPU Clock and Everest Ultimate) and between 54 and 56 for core 2 and 3.
Thats it. Tried it at 3.40, but no luck. Was posting, but the PC keep rebooting while booting Vista.
I also am running a P5WDH Deluxe. I can't get it stable. I have it at 3.0 Ghz but I can't get my Ram past 667. I have 4GB of kingston hyper x 800mhz. Any Suggestion?
have you tried using coretemp? i aslo have a g0 and a biostar p965pt mobo and also the ram thing is making life hell. cant get it stable on anything over 667 if im ocing but take everything off and run standard clocks at ddr2 800 then its sweet. huh?? timings many?
I have the processor at 3.0 GHZ following the settings I have found on this site. But the RAM will only go 667. Vista will not boot. I have also tried putting the processor to 3.3 and I get the same thing. I think it may be the RAM. I'm not sure the Kingston likes this. I'm trying to find that out before messing with any further.
I tried both. Before this I had a e6600 and I couldn't get that stable with anything better than this either. It might be a limitation. The person that started this thread didn't mention his settings.
