8800 GTS needs Aux Power also?

Hello all,

Assembling my first computer from scratch in years~ and I picked up an 8800 GTS. Now it has it's own Power input... as such do I still need to supply power to the "Auxilary Graphics Power" slot on the Mobo?

No not neccesarily.

well if you want to use the card to its full potential, yes you need to use the "auxiliary power slot". otherwise the card won't run at full power

It should run just fine unless he has issues.
I never had any with 68gt,s in sli and now a single 8800.
