Overclocking CPU only, should I increase MEMORY voltage also?

Most of the CPU overclocking guides refer to change the memory voltage? Why is that?

I mean if I want to overclock only the CPU using the unlinked option (leaving my memory to run at default speed), then why should I increase the memory voltage?

Depends.

But looking at your test setup your memory goes to 400MHZ. You wont be using a 400mhz FSB to get to 3GHZ so therefor its not actually overclocking.

Leave the memory voltage the same. I bet could go far over 400mhz at stock voltage too.
