Amd x2 Windsor or Barisbane?? help

Hi, I'm planning to upgrade my system and I think an Athlon 64 x2 5000+ would be nice, since I've heard the Windsor type is better and at the same price I would like one... the problem is I don't know how to see wich one is or isn't windsor :\ I watched some google pictures of boxed and unboxed cpu's but I couldn't find the type's name.... so, anyone knows how to see this before buying?

Windsor is the 90nm where Brisbane is 65nm. So just look for a 90nm X2. I would suggest the X2 3600 Brisbane if your OCing. The Brisbane's can hit 3GHz with no problem and the higher clock should make up for any losses.

ugh why not just go all out and get the 6000+ they are dirt cheap now

Windsors are better at stock speeds, but brisbanes overclock better.

If your are overclocking, get a brisbane, otherwise, stick to the 90nm windsors.
