Hello,
I downloaded songs to my I pod and my dvd/cd rom disappeared in the my computer section. My computer no longer recognizes it but says it is working correctly. My D:/ drive is shown as a usb port. What can I do to get it back

After looking into this a bit I was able to find a good help site. http://support.Microsoft.Com/kb/314060/EN-US/ This site was able to help a number of people with the same problem. Just click on the fix it yourself if you want to. Or you can fix it automatically, my opinion is if you are not a computer person I would not fix it yourself, fix it automatically.

I hope this helps!

Hi Brett,
Thanks a million for your suggestion. I would love to say that it works but it doesn't. My computer tells me that the boot file is in the wrong order. Do you have any other suggestions. I am at my wits end. I don't know what to do next.
Thanks
