If I run a CPU at FSB1333, what FSB speed do I need to match the DDR modules to? 1333/4 for the base FSB speed? 1333/2 for the RAM I/O bus speed? 1333 for a 1:1 CPU:DRAM interface? There's like 19 numbers to look at. If I don't have to match anything, will I have to set up a RAM divider to tell the system what ratio to the FSB the RAM is running at? Or will it drag down the CPU performance by lowering its effective bus speed?

OR, am I blowing everything way out of proportion and do I not have to do anything?

1333fsb means you need atleast PC2-5400.

It runs at effective 667mhz because its DDR2, which basically means 333mhz.

Ram doesnt actually run the same as your FSB, but your bus speed.

Bus Speed X CPU multiplier = CPU Speed ex. 200bus x 10multi = 2ghz

Bus speed = FSB/4

So with a 1333mhz FSB, you'll need atleast 333mhz ram, aka PC2-5400.

Nothing below that would work.
