Im wondering can anyone with an 1g/512mb 2900 xt post there improvements with the card after installing the new 7.7 driver, especially AA/AF performance, frame rates and if any improvements in overclocking. Just make sure you guys dont blow up those card while trying. :bounce:

I haven't noticed any improvements really, same score on 3DMark06 (default) of 9600-9700. Does add the 12x and 24x AA options, though. I haven't tried it in a real hard core game like Oblivion yet, though.

windows dreamscene still doesnt work since 7.6 and anytime i forget to turn a games AA off while having 24x AA enabled i get a red screne of death( kind of weird I thought they were all blue). 16x AA still doesnt show any video in the catalyst like before(not sure why since 7.6).

AWESOME! i have been waiting for more AA but i wont really use it. I did not notice any improvements really though. But i cant install 3d mark cause of my dissected windows. I am going to heck out lost coast quick and then i will tell you if they are better.

Well i get a grand total of 20fps on 1600*1200 in the menu so guess what i wont be using.... It looks VERY VERY VERY good but you cant play at 20 frames and have much fun... Now i just need crossfire. the 24X is only usable with temporal AA, so it is not really 24X.
