radeon 1650 pro on gigabyte 8pe667 ultra

Hi people, please help!!!!!

ive just returned the above gfx card as it didnt work on my mobo.

they tested it and said its fine... my board supports 4xagp 1.5v only. the sapphire x1650 pro supports 4xagp 1.5v or 8xagp 0.8v.

scan say it wont work....gigabyte say it will work...the internet says both. so im looking for someone who has that board and can run vista aero on a decent index scoring gfx card.

when i plugged the card in all i got was 1 long beep and 2 short beeps (video failure) any ideas if this card should work? or recommend a decent (under £60) card for my mobo. thanks in advance

Hi again, im replacing an old hercules prophet agp 4x card as this wont run vista aero. ive tried a radeon 9800 pro and that worked fine...nice index score too. but you cant buy them anymore.
